|

This is my first post ....so here goes!!
I work as an Ops Manager for a Call Centre in Ontario, Canada that is being impacted negatively by Attendance (who isn't these days??). Our target is 5% but we are closer to 10% - we are working on it though.
My question is really a hunt for some great ideas - this January will be our busiest month and we want to do everything within our power to keep our absences as low as possible. What kind of incentives can we offer (cost effective ones of course) to our staff in order to maximize our staff turnout in January?? obviously if it goes well, we may look at rolling it out for the rest of the year too.
The only CURRENT incentive that we have for attendance is: all employees with Perfect Attendance for the month will get to 'dress casual' for one week of the next month AND their names get placed into a random draw for a PAID DAY OFF.
So....apart from this....what other thoughts do you have???

Hi,
1) Keep them from leaving for lunch on your high volume days. Provide food - simple of course - sandwhiches - pasta -- nothing that requires a lot of time toprep.
2) Money is a Motivator !!
3) Movie tickets = resturant certificates,
4) Maid for a day
5) |
