I'm new to this industry but have been tasked to look into obtaining a voice logger for my company.
Can someone advise me if they know of any implications, legal or otherwise, if we do not inform callers that the call will be recorded. Should there be a need to use the recorded conversation for dispute resolution later, will we breach any laws or will we be in a fix if we need to use the recorded information as evidence to settle the dispute? In the eyes of the law, are we infringing into another person's privacy etc if we record the telephone conversation without keep them informed?
Thanks for your advise. |
